Swift deployment of thermals going from mobile to stationary work is paramount. Full length zippers - easy to use with mittens, and elastics adjustments to trap the warm air in makes SNIGEL Thermals your best friend.

High quality waterproof fabric and synthetic insulation keeps the balance between optimum warmth/water repellency and breathability. "Moisture kills during winter operations" - keeping wind & water out is equally important as letting moisture escape and being dry. Our long experience and legacy of arctic training and operations has been applied to these garments.

Thermal Jacket

SNIGEL'S Thermal Jacket is fully reversible for adaptations above and below the tree line.

Fill weight is 240 in torso and 140 grams in the sleeves and hood in order to have warmth where needed without restricting movement.

SNIGELS six-pocket setup in with extended zippers allows access even with thicker gloves. Lower pockets are accessible both ways and with ballistic vest.

A Warm Hug

The jacket is adjustable to ensure the best possible comfort depending on if you are wearing ballistic protection under your thermal clothing or if you prefer a tighter fit without combat gear.

Adjustable at the bottom and the waist enables the garment to maximise it's thermal effect by letting in airflow.

Light Thermal Jacket

Our Light Thermal Jacket can be worn as an outer layer or as reinforcement under Snow jackets or ballistic vest. As a mid thermal layer the jacket has ventilation zippers aligning with both combat, snow and shell jacket enabling airflow and ventilation when needed. Neck is adjustable for trapping warm air.

The lining with highloft fleece at neck and torso traps warm air and gives an incredible nice feel. Sleeves are insulated with synthetic fiber. One of the sleeves has a high-viz orange lining for signal and CSAR scenarios.

Thermal Trousers

SNIGEL'S Thermal Trousers are equipped with full length zippers and adjustable elastic waist making deployment easy even with bulky winter boots. The three way zipper makes access to inner layer pockets and ventilation for shorter physical tasks.

The trousers have a snap button closure at the bottom of the leg and are prepped for inserting extra knee pads. Shovelling snow and surveillance tasks may need double knee pads to keep the distance between snow and body heat. Loops for braces and extra long fly zipper for extra comfort.

Fleece Jacket

Our fleece jacket provides comfort in the harshest Arctic environments. Tested in -30 degrees celsius, the jacket is a perfect mid-layer solution to be worn when the temperature drops.

Thermal Kilt

SNIGELs Thermal Kilt is a gap filler in all winter uniform systems. Fully zipped on the sides and compartment for a seat pad in the rear. This can be fitted without removing any other garments or vest system. Slap it on and increase warmth and insulation on thigh and buttocks.

Snap buttons can closed in between the legs to increase the insulation. If you need to start running the buttons will open and not restrict any movement. The kilt can also be worn as a cape reinforcing the shoulder area without hindering access to a plate carrier. The rear has a pocket which allows for insulation inserts.

Light Field Blanket

Snigel's Light Field Blanket is the multi-tool of winter warfare. Waterproof on one side and our high loft fleece on the other giving protection and comfort. The one sided snap-buttons will give the operator a lot of adaptations.

It is stored in an integrated pocket meaning it is fast to deploy, fast to stove away, and has minimal bulk.

You can use it as a cape over your combat gear increasing the insulation without hindering access to the rig, weapon or excess heat in prolonged gun fight. The snap buttons will make it real easy to completely remove the insulation, if shit hits the fan.

Another variation is to wear it as a kilt or why not increase the insulation for your torso sleeping on it covering the upper half of the sleeping pad?

Having two field blankets can give you the oppurtunity to connect them and create an emergency sleeping bag. Do we even need to mention that for trauma field care the amount of light field blankets cannot be underestimated...

There should be at least one in every pack and vehicle.
